Terms & Conditions

Bidwarriors Online Smart Solutions Pvt. Ltd. · Operates DoctorLib · Last updated: 20 Jun 2026

1. Platform role

DoctorLib is a technology platform operated by Bidwarriors Online Smart Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. We connect patients with registered healthcare providers. We are not a hospital, clinic, or medical practitioner and do not provide medical advice or treatment.

DoctorLib does not use patient medical information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ and capable of entering a binding contract. Doctors must hold valid medical registration in India.

3. Appointments & online video consultations
  • Booking confirms your selected slot subject to doctor confirmation.
  • In-clinic visits — attend at the doctor’s clinic address shown on the profile.
  • Online video consultations — available only when a doctor enables online visits and provides a meeting link (Google Meet, Zoom, etc.). DoctorLib does not host the video; you join the doctor’s link from your appointment after confirmation. Online care is subject to Indian telemedicine guidelines and has limitations vs in-person examination.
  • Patients must arrive on time (or join online on time) with accurate health information.
4. AI features (help chat, Healthcare Copilot & health insights)

DoctorLib may offer automated AI and rule-based features. They are not medical advice and must not be used for emergencies.

  • Footer help chat — platform support (bookings, labs, prescriptions, payments).
  • Healthcare Copilot (patient portal) — helps navigate the platform (book doctors, find care, view appointments). It does not diagnose or prescribe.
  • Care AI (website & app) — educational assistant for reports, medicines, follow-ups, and wellness photo scans (estimated calories / hydration). Requires separate Care AI consent before uploads or scans. This information is educational only and is not a diagnosis or prescription. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
  • DoctorLib Wellness Score, health age, timeline, and education suggestions — wellness engagement indicators derived from data you enter. Not a medical health rating or disease risk score; consult a registered doctor for clinical decisions.
  • Lab report summaries — optional automated summaries of reports in your account. Always review the original report with your doctor.

For health concerns, book a registered doctor. For emergencies call 108 or use the Emergency page — not AI chat. See our Privacy Policy for how messages and insights are handled.

5. Patient portal (Health Hub, family app, device sync & more)

Logged-in patients may use additional wellness and coordination tools on the website and in the DoctorLib Family Android app:

  • Health tracker — log or import vitals (e.g. blood pressure, heart rate, SpO₂, sleep) manually or via Android Health Connect where you grant permission on your device.
  • Health timeline — chronological view of platform events: doctor visits, prescriptions, lab reports, vitals, health alerts, and payments.
  • Health alerts — automated threshold warnings from logged vitals; informational only, not a diagnosis or emergency service.
  • Family members — add profiles under your login (Health Hub / app). You confirm authority to provide their information. Per-member vitals may be supported where enabled.
  • Emergency page & Medical ID card — displays emergency contacts, allergies, medications, PA ID, nearby hospitals/pharmacies, and a shareable summary. You choose when to share via your device. Does not dispatch ambulances or replace 108.
  • Nearby Care — find partners by city or device location (with permission). Map display may use third-party map services.
  • Health card & insurance finder — informational search of partner-listed acceptance. Confirm eligibility with the hospital or insurer before treatment.
  • Refill reminders — based on prescription dates on the platform; not a guarantee that medicine is in stock or appropriate without doctor review.
  • WhatsApp Health Assistant — optional transactional WhatsApp reminders (medication, appointments, family alerts, wellness summaries) when you opt in in the app. Not for emergencies. See our Privacy Policy.
  • In-app notification levels — green (informational), yellow (reminders), red (critical health alerts). See Privacy Policy.
5a. WhatsApp Health Assistant

WhatsApp messages are optional and require separate opt-in in Account → WhatsApp Assistant. By opting in you agree that we may send health-related transactional messages to your registered mobile via Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. You may disable opt-in or individual alert types anytime. WhatsApp is not an emergency channel — call 108 for emergencies.

6. DoctorLib Family mobile app

The DoctorLib Family app is for patient accounts only. It uses secure API tokens (not stored passwords) to access the same health data you see on the website. You are responsible for securing your phone and revoking access by logging out or changing your password. Device sync imports only the vitals you authorize from Health Connect or compatible sources. The app is provided as-is during beta; features may change with notice on the website.

7. Google Sign-In

Patients may use Continue with Google instead of password login. Google Sign-In is not available for doctors, hospitals, labs, pharmacies, or admins. New Google sign-ups still require a valid Indian mobile number and acceptance of all registration consents. Linking Google to an existing account requires a verified Google email matching your DoctorLib email.

8. Prescriptions, labs, partner pharmacys & catalog search

DoctorLib provides digital workflows connecting patients, doctors, verified diagnostic labs, and verified pharmacies. Key rules:

  • Patient ID (PA ID) — each patient receives a unique PA ID shown in their account. Patients share PA ID at diagnostic counters and pharmacies as directed on the platform.
  • Prescriptions (RX ID) — doctors issue digital prescriptions to the patient account after a confirmed or completed visit. Each prescription has a unique RX ID.
  • Pharmacy fulfillment — partner pharmacies look up the patient by PA ID only. Shops may dispense all medicines or selected items (partial fulfillment). Once a medicine line is dispensed at one shop, it cannot be dispensed again elsewhere. Patients can view which shop supplied which medicine in their prescription history.
  • Diagnostic tests (doctor-ordered) — doctors may order tests digitally after a visit. The patient attends any verified partner diagnostic with PA ID only. Diagnostics accept the order, perform the test, and upload reports to the patient account.
  • Medicine availability search — logged-in patients, doctors, and hospital admins may search verified pharmacies for in-stock medicines by name (and optional city). Results show pharmacy identity, contact details, quantity on hand, and price only if the pharmacy enables public price display. Otherwise “contact pharmacy” is shown. Search results are informational; DoctorLib does not reserve stock, process medicine payments, or guarantee availability until you visit or contact the pharmacy.
  • Diagnostic test catalog search — logged-in patients, doctors, and hospital admins may search verified diagnostics for tests/check-ups published in each diagnostic’s catalog. Results may show next available time slots and price only if the diagnostic enables public price display (diagnostic-wide or per-test setting). DoctorLib does not perform the test or guarantee slot availability until confirmed at the diagnostic center.
  • Patient diagnostic test booking — patients may book a published test slot through the platform. Booking creates a reference on DoctorLib and is subject to lab confirmation at attendance. Unless separately disclosed at checkout, diagnostic test bookings on DoctorLib do not currently include online payment; any fees are settled directly with the lab as per their policy.
  • Partner directories — verified diagnostics and pharmacies are listed with address and contact details. Partners maintain their own inventory, test catalog, prices, and slot capacity. DoctorLib does not guarantee medicine stock, test availability, slot accuracy, or final pricing at partner premises.
  • Uploaded reports — patients may upload their own medical files (PDF/images) to their account. Doctors who have treated the patient may view these files for continuity of care.
9. Payments

Consultation fees are displayed before booking. Payments are processed via Razorpay. Platform commission may apply as disclosed at checkout.

10. Emergency medical situations

DoctorLib is not intended for emergency medical situations.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, immediately contact local emergency services (108 in India), visit the nearest emergency department, or seek urgent medical assistance.

The Emergency page and Medical ID card are convenience tools only — they display information you entered and help you contact people or find nearby care. They do not dispatch ambulances, send SMS automatically, or provide continuous monitoring.

Do not rely on DoctorLib messaging, health alerts, appointment booking, AI features, or support channels for emergency care.

11. Cancellation & refunds

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Cancellation windows and refund eligibility depend on appointment status and timing.

  • Multi-factor authentication (TOTP) is available for doctor, hospital, diagnostic, pharmacy, and admin accounts where enabled.
  • Forgot password is available via SMS OTP to the registered mobile only. We do not reset passwords by email.
  • Optional email verification (OTP) enables booking and report notifications; it does not replace mobile login.
  • The DoctorLib Family app uses secure API tokens; protect your device and log out on shared phones.
  • Users must keep mobile numbers current and report suspected unauthorized access to info@doctorlib.in or security@doctorlib.in.
16. Intellectual property

DoctorLib, its branding, software, content, workflows, logos, and platform design are the intellectual property of Bidwarriors Online Smart Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. Unauthorized copying, scraping, automated extraction, or reproduction is prohibited.

17. Anti-scraping

Users may not use bots, crawlers, automated tools, or scraping technologies to access or collect platform data without written authorization from Bidwarriors Online Smart Solutions Pvt. Ltd..

18. Provider suspension

DoctorLib may suspend healthcare providers where verification documents expire, become invalid, or fail compliance review. Suspended providers may not accept appointments, submit reports, or fulfill prescriptions until re-verified.
